Important
- Read the instructions carefully before use to familiarize yourself with the burner before connecting it to its gas cartridge
Keep these instructions for future reference
- This device should only be used with a MAX MSF-1A / MSF-1 CRV butane cartridge conforming to EN 417. It may be dangerous to attempt to fit other types of gas cartridge.
- Do not use the stove when the ambient temperature is higher than 35°C
- Do not use the burner when the cartridge container cover is in the open position.
- Release or unplug the gas cartridge after each use

Check that the seals (between the burner and the gas canister) are in place and in good condition before connecting the gas (Fig. 6)

During cooking, the deep roasting pan must be filled with water or soup, otherwise the temperature of the glass lid and plate may be too high

• When used in areas with high temperatures, such as a beach during the summer or in a hot room, the internal pressure of the cartridge may rise to more than 450 kPa (normal pressure = 200-300 kPa).
• This will activate the safety auto shut-off device inside the regulator
• Remove the gas cartridge from the cartridge chamber.
• If the burner is in use and is working properly. Butane should be cool to the touch
• If it is not warm and you feel warm, refer to “Precautions” in the Stove Usage section and check if you are using the stove correctly
• Push and turn the control/ignition switch to “IGNITION” to release any excess gas inside the regulator.
• Ensure that the control / ignition knob is in the “OFF” position and reset the safety shutdown device by pushing the reset lever with the red rubber cap
• Repeat the three steps to insert the gas cartridge after it has cooled
• The gas cartridge can only be locked if the control knob (9) is in the “””””””””” position
Tips before cooking
CAUTION: Do not place the roasting pan on the burner without supporting the pan. Never use another cookware
The MS-8 Deep Roaster Pan should be used exclusively with a pan support. Before cooking, always check

Using the stove for the first time
1. Ensure that the control knob (9) is set to the “”””●”””” position by turning it clockwise and the cartridge lever (8) to “”””open”.
2. Open the cartridge cap (10) and insert the cartridge, head facing forward, notch pointing up and in line with value guide (Fig. 2).
3. Press the cartridge lever (8) down (Fig. 3) and close the cartridge cover
4. If you hear a “hiss” sound, the cartridge is not installed correctly. Do not attempt to ignite the burner but move the lever (8) to the “unlock” position and repeat step (1-4).
5. Push and turn knob (9) all the way to the ignition position until it clicks. (Fig. 4) Repeat this procedure until the burner ignites.
6. Adjust the control knob to the desired position. (Fig. 5) Never set the cartridge lever (6) to the “UNLOCK” position during use!
after use
1. Turn the control knob (9) to the “””””””” position.
2. Check if the igniter has gone out before adjusting the cartridge lever (8) to the “UNLOCK” position
3. When the burner has completely cooled down, for your own safety, remove the cartridge
4. Turn the control knob (8) to the ignition position to release any excess gas inside the regulator
5. Put on the red protective cap and always store the gas cartridge in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place
