Care & Maintenance of Flexi-Tank Water Tanks.
Congratulations on your purchase of a Water Tank. The fabric, design and production methods combine to produce a tank that is tough, versatile and long lasting, provided on follow these few guidelines.
Installation of your Water Tank
*Make sure the surfaces in contact with the Water Tank are free of all sharp protrusions and any objects or structural members that might rub against
the Water Tank. It is worth considering lining the area with material like outdoor or marine carpet.
*Be sure to measure the hose lengths when the Water Tank is empty; the fittings are not designed to take the weight of the Water Tank contents.
*Use the eyelets to secure the Water Tank within the compartment.
*The outlet should be at the lowest point, and the inlet at the highest to ensure ease of use and maximum capacity.
*The ambient temperature around the Water Tank must not exceed 60 degrees C.
Maintenance of your Water Tank
*Before using the Water Tank, wash it out with a pure soap eg Lux Flakes and cold water, or a mild Bicarbonate of Soda solution. This is a high quality
potable PVC fabric and following these instructions will remove any trace of materials used in production of the fabric. Also wash out the pipes
connected to the Water Tank.
*We recommend rinsing out your Water Tank once a year, and before any prolonged storage period. If the Water Tank is to be stored, we recommend it
be laid or hung flat, rather than being rolled up.
*To clean the outside of the Water Tank use only cold soapy water and a sponge.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
DO NOT use hot water to clean your Water Tank
DO NOT use solvent ,acetone or abrasive material,
DO NOT store any form of fuel,solvernt or sewage.
