304 stainless steel pressure cooker with high safety and consistent pressure control—for fast and delicious cooking results every time.

Technical specifications:

  • Model number: GR-9L
  • Material: #304 stainless steel + heat-insulating bakelite handles/parts
  • Weight: 2.91 kg
  • Dimensions: Length 40 x Width 27 x Height 28 cm

Features:

  • Secure closure with an audible “ click ” locking mechanism when fully closed.
  • Preserving food moisture: Pressure action reduces evaporation and speeds up cooking.
  • A steam indicator/regulator that vibrates when the desired pressure is reached to facilitate fire control.
  • A sealing rim and ring (skin) to ensure leak-proof operation—can be lubricated with cooking oil for easy opening/closing.
  • Stainless steel 304 is rust-resistant, easy to clean, and has a long service life.

Uses:

  • Cooking meat, poultry, unsplit legumes, root vegetables, rice and pasta (taking care to reduce the heat after starting the pressure cooker).
  • Preparing broths and stews quickly and efficiently.
  • Foods that should not be pressurized in a pot include apple juice, rhubarb, cranberries, split peas, pea soup, pearl barley, and similar foods; because they may boil over/spill and block the vent.

Shortcut operating method:

  • Place enough food and water. Make sure the lid has a protective covering.
  • Place the cover and press it down, then turn the handle left until you hear a “click” (fully locked).
  • Turn up the heat until steam starts coming out of the vent pipe, then install the regulator.
  • When the regulator shakes and makes intermittent hissing noises, reduce the heat so that it shakes slowly (continuous shaking = excessive moisture loss).
  • After the time is up, remove the pot from the heat and reduce the pressure before opening:
  • Either natural cooling (10–25 minutes depending on the quantity). Or rapid cooling under a tap/bath (≈ 15 seconds).
  • To ensure the pressure is completely released: push the regulator slightly; if steam comes out, the pressure hasn't dropped yet. If no steam comes out, remove the regulator, press the knob button with your thumb, slide the lid right, and open it. Never force the lid open—if it doesn't open, let the pot cool again.

Quick troubleshooting solutions:

  • Still steam around the lid and the pressure does not rise: Cool the pot, remove the regulator and open it, clean the skin, the rim of the pot and the lid, dry it and then try again.
  • Excessive vibration and loss of moisture: The fire is high—reduce it until the vibration becomes intermittent.

Safety and care tips:

  • Do not open the lid before fully releasing the pressure.
  • Keep the vents clean and unblocked.
  • Do not fill the pot more than 2/3 full (and for liquids and foams 1/2).
  • Lubricate the leather with a light cooking oil when necessary, and replace it if it cracks/hardens.
  • Clean stainless steel by hand and dry immediately; avoid metal scrapers on the edges.
