Non Auto Stove with Dual Mixture(Cassette Fue&7/16" Connection)
in accordance with Standard BS EN 521 :2006

1. INTRODUCTION/SPECIFICATIONS:

• This gas appliance shall be used exclusively for PKL/DPT L P Gas cylinders with M14X 1.5 gas connection & Cartridge Cylinders With 7/16” Connection.
• It may be hazardous to attempt to fit any other types of gas cylinders.
• Jet Nipple Size: 0.50mm, LPG .
• Gas Consumption :355 gm/hr – 4.6 Kw
• USE OUTDOORS ONLY
• Read the below instructions carefully before use so as to familiarize yourself with the appliance before connecting it to its gas container. Keep this instruction handy for future reference.
2. SAFETY INFORMATION (FIG.1):

• Check the seals(5)(between the appliance and the gas container are in place and in good condition before connecting to the gas container as shown in Fig 2& Fig3.
• The appliance should be used outdoors only.
• The appliance must be operated on a horizontal even surface.
• The appliances shall be used away from flammable material and minimum 2 mtr away from adjacent surfaces like ceilings and 1 mt from wall.
• The Gas container shall be changed outside only away from any sources of ignition, such as naked flames, pilots, electric fire and away from other people.
• Always check the soundness of a gas of the cylinder outdoor.
• If there is a leak on your appliance, take it outside immediately into a well ventilated flame free location where the leak may be detected and stopped. If you wish to check for leaks on appliance, do it out side, do not try to detect leaks using flame, use soapy water.
• Do not use the appliance if it has damaged or worn seals(5), Do not use an appliance which is leaking, damaged or which does not operate properly.
• Never leave the appliance un attended when lit.
• Do not allow pans to boil dry.
3. HANDLING THE APPLIANCE:
• CAUTION : accessible parts may become very hot keep children away from the appliance
• Handle carefully, do not touch hot parts of the appliance during or after use.
• Storage: Always unscrew the gas appliance from the gas cylinder when not in use.
The gas cylinder should be stored duly fitted with dummy nut in a dry safe place out of the reach of
heat source
• Do not misuse the appliance, or use it for anything for which it has not been designed.
• Handle the appliance with care. Do not drop it
4. ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE (FIG.1)
• Screw the valve assembly to Appliance in anti clock wise direction. Be care full not to fit the valve cross threaded, do not over tighten.
• Ensure the control knob (2) is turned off (turned fully clockwise).
• Keep the gas cylinder (4) in upright position when connecting to the gas appliance.
• Place the valve squarely on the gas cylinder valve, see Fig 1.
• Screw the gas appliance onto the gas cylinder. Be careful not to fit the cylinder cross threaded. Note: Screw hand tight only. Do not over tighten or you will damage the cylinder valve.
• Ensure that a complete gas seal(5) has been made. If you have to check the gas soundness of the appliance, do this outdoors. Do not check for leak with a naked flame. Use warm soapy water only. Apply to the joints and connections of the appliance. Any leakage will show up as bubbles around the leakage area. If you are in doubt or you can hear or smell gas, do not attempt to light the appliance. Un screw the gas appliance and return it to your local dealer.
• Make sure the burner is screwed down tightly and there is no leak. The stove is now ready for use.

5. OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
• Always operate the gas cylinder and appliance on a firm horizontal even surface.
• Turn the knob anticlockwise (2) and light the burner (1) immediately with the piezo Ignitor
/match box as applicable.
• Regulate the flame by turning the control knob (2).
• After lighting, operate the appliance upright and do not move it around. Flaring may occur if the appliance moved carelessly.
• After use, ensure that the valve is fully shut (control knob turned fully clockwise).
• Distance to inflammable materials must be ensured. Minimum distance to ceiling is 2mts and to wall 1 mt. To avoid a fire hazard these minimum distances must be complied with.


6.CHANGING THE GAS CYLINDER
• Shut the valve completely.
• Make sure the flame is extinguished and that no other open fire is nearby .
• Change the cylinder outdoors and out of reach of any other people.
• Unscrew the appliance/valve/Hose Pipe from the gas cylinder and replace the O-ring seals(5) of the appliance if it is cracked or worn out.
• Avoid cross threading by putting the valve of the appliance squarely on to thread of the cylinder and screw-on hand tight only.

7. MAINTENANCE
• If the pressure drops or the gas does not light, check if there is any gas left in the cylinder (4). If so, the Jet Nipple (3) might be blocked.
• Cleaning the Jet Nipple
Fully turnoff the control knob (2) and unscrew the cylinder (4).
Unscrew the valve of the appliance from the burner. Unscrew the Jet Nipple (3) by using 6mm spanner.
Clean out the Jet Nipple by blowing through the tiny hole at the front.
Do not use an incorrect size picker or any type of pin etc. To clean the blockage you may damage the hole and make the appliance unsafe.
• Refit the Jet Nipple and screw it on tightly to ensure a gas seal(5).
• Re-fit the cylinder by following as described in section 4, for extra safety, check the joint with warm soapy water. If bubbles appear, the joint is not tight enough.

8. ROUTINE SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
• Always ensure that the seal(5) is in place and in good condition.
• Check this each time prior to fitting the appliance.
• Replace the seal if it is damaged or worn
• New sealing seals is available from your local dealer.
• Inspect the Hose Pipe and change it if it has any cracks.
9. SERVICE AND REPAIR
• If you cannot rectify any fault by following these instructions, return the appliance to your local dealer.
• Never attempt any other maintenance or repair.
• Never modify the appliance. This may cause the appliance to become unsafe.
10. SPARES AND ACCESSORIES
• Use only PKL/DPT spares and accessories. Be careful when fitting spares and accessories.
• Replacement Cylinders: Use PKL/DPT LPG cylinder spares only.
